We sat down and started watching the video on several occassiona. While I thought the images were appealing, and I could definitley see how some memorization could happen and word recognition begin, my sons were not interested in sitting there and watching it. If you have a child that is super active and normally doesn't watch tv, then this program may not be for you. Then again, your kiddo could fall in love with the images and be glued.
The DVD works by repetition, and you follow up the DVD with reading the book and using the slide out cards. It is an easy to follow program, and I can definitely see why it works.
I am going to try Braden at it again, but we are going to try something different this time. He has developed a love for the computer and will watch a full length movie on the computer,so I am going to put it on here and see what he does. I'll let you know in a YBCR follow-up!
The starter kit comes with the starter book, the parents guide, easy learning workshop DVD, starter DVD, and the sliding word cards. The book was a hit with the twins, who like flipping the pages over to see the pictures.

I am trying to get a blog/Etsy party going on for Black friday pricing in some Etsy shops on WED before Thanksgiving...
